Casa staff organised an activity in the name of inclusion and relationship building this week called the Dashain celebration.
Dashain is a Hindu tradition that celebrates the triumph of good over evil.
It is also a celebration of the renewal of community ties, and Casa Kilgariff staff were keen to share the blessings and community spirit of Dashain to participants and other staff.
As part of the event, staff gave each other and clients blessings and well wishes as they applied tika – a mix of rice, yoghurt, and red dye – to their foreheads.
